Job Summary
We’re looking for an experienced Business Development Manager who can drive growth across our targeted sectors. This role is responsible for identifying, securing, and nurturing new business opportunities and partnerships, while working closely with our creative and account teams to ensure a seamless client experience. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record in sales and client relationship management within our key sectors and a strategic mindset that aligns with our agency goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities in Tech & Consumer Electronics, Health & Lifestyle, and Lifestyle & Outdoors sectors.
- Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to expand our client base and maximise growth in each target sector.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their unique needs and presenting tailored solutions.
- Collaborate with internal teams to design proposals, pitch presentations, and contract negotiations that reflect our agency’s strengths and capabilities.
- Track and report on performance metrics, including sales pipeline, conversion rates, and customer satisfaction, providing insights for continuous improvement.
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market shifts to identify new opportunities and keep our agency at the forefront of each sector.
- Represent AgencyGMR at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to build brand awareness and expand our reach.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Business Development Manager or in a similar role, ideally within marketing, PR, or Creative agencies.
- Sector-specific expertise in at least one of our target areas (Tech & Consumer Electronics, Public sector & Health, or Lifestyle & Outdoors).
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple client relationships and projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in CRM software and sales analytics tools.
- A results-driven attitude with a strong strategic outlook and problem-solving abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- Established network within the Tech, Public sector, Health, Lifestyle, or Outdoors industries.
- Experience working with both B2B and B2C clients.
